Sounds pretty good on my mid-fi system. Great DVD. I have no doubt on my Hifi system it will sound even better. Every song is worth the price of admission.

When a "love song" wasn't vulgar,and the vocals were pure and simple romance. A treat for the ears,to listen to this excellent collection of hits from "back in the day". His wonderful voice will have you dreaming and wanting to try "Dancing on the Ceiling"!.


Great overview
Lionel Richie did it up big time with the Commodores&then Solo. to Me Personally in terms of a Artist mattering big time with a Group&then Solo only Michael Jackson to me ranks ahead of Lionel Richie in this category. He truly has left a strong Catelog of songs that are timeless. on this double Compilation these Songs showcase a Artist who Dominated 2 decades which to me is the mark of a truly Great Artist. a Good to Very Good Artist can run a Decade if everything goes right,but to have two strong decades as Lionel Richie did is truly amazing. as a Songwriter Lionel Richie is way up there. His Lyrics are something else. his musical stylings touched on so many styles&themes. the Classics such as "Just to Be Close to you",Easy,Truly,You are,"Hello"(Which that video is still timeless&Everytime a Lady would call me I'd use that pick up,Hello!!!!! is it me your looking for??) Great Collection&Full running time. Lionel's Music covers R&B,Pop,Country&Gospel. Lionel was hitting some notes back in the day which he never fully gets his due on. also The Man could write some bridges in songs. I also admire the fact that he stayed in his musical lane&didn't over-due things. .
