Child of Clay, One of the Best Albums Ever
I am so glad this amazing album is available on CD now. First time I listened to this record when my dad bought it, back in late 1960's and loved to listen to all the songs.


Good for your soul music
My favorite time to play this is on a quiet evening, snuggled up in a comfy chair. Like so many others, I have the original vinyl and have been searching on and off over the years for a CD. The music washes over your soul; brings a tear to your eye. There is nothing raucous or strident abut Jimmie Rodgers. Smooth, fluid, soothing stories. YUMMY.

I had never heard Jimmie sing most of these songs before so it was really a treat. I love this album. His voice is beautiful. . . so smooth and relaxing.
