La cuspide de la musica de Silvio
Para mediados de los ochenta, estaba alcanzando su cuspide, grabando en 1986 "Causas y Azares", un album repleto de temas que, si bien no alcanzaron el nivel clasico de muchas canciones anteriores, no dejan de tener un caracter admirable a nivel lirico y musical. Silvio Rodriguez evoluciono en su musica -originalmente centrada en torno a su voz y su guitarra- a lo largo de los annos, incorporando cada vez mas instrumentos y arreglos mas complejos.

Quizas el tema que mas me toca sea "En Mi Calle", el cual comienza con un piano clasico y revienta a quien lo escucha con su letra desgarradora. Sin embargo, el album entero se eleva y destaca muy por encima de la mayoria de la discografia de Silvio, por su originalidad musical y nuevas propuestas, fusionando estilos a diestra y siniestra, asi como por sus letras siempre profundas y dispuestas a poner a pensar a quien se siente a escucharlas con dedicacion.

I think i have heard 20 records of Silvio, and maybe 5 or 6 videos, and this is the best record. Review in english and spanish
English: I can't beleive this is the only review. It has all types of songs, political, love, people, remembers, etc. Also, the musical arrangements are great, including guitar-solo, band, and so on. Highly recommended, this is part of the 3 or 4 must have for Silvio. It worth every penny.
Espanol: Este disco es excelente, si te gusta Silvio, o no tienes ningun disco y quieres uno solo que tenga todo, este es el que necesitas. Un clasico total.
