Customer Reviews
After Exile, the Stones got Funky.
Recorded in Kingston, Jamaica, and released in 1973, it was the follow up to the critically acclaimed [[ASIN:B000000W5L Exile on Main St. Goat's Head Soup is among my five favorite Stones' albums. ]]. Whereas Exile had a sound that was raw and ragged, Goat's Head Soup was a more polished, funkier version of The Stones. Many critics argue Goat's Head Soup marked the end of the Stones' Golden Age. The album is perhaps best known for its single, "Angie" (inspired by Richards' lover Anita Pallenberg), a song that for me will always be synonymous with my first encounter with unrequited love. As a rebellious teenager, I would play "Star Star" LOUD, not because it was the greatest song on the album, but because I thought it was so cool that Mick used the "F word," and because that track in particular was sure to get an instant reaction from my parents. Other tracks include:

1. Dancing With Mr D (1994 Digital Remaster) (4:53)
2. 100 Years Ago (1994 Digital Remaster) (3:59)
3. Coming Down Again (1994 Digital Remaster) (5:54)
4. Doo Doo Doo Doo (Heartbreaker) (1994 Digital Remaster) (3:27)
5. Angie (1993 Digital Remaster) (4:33)
6. Silver Train (1994 Digital Remaster) (4:26)
7. Hide Your Love (1994 Digital Remaster) (4:12)
8. Winter (1994 Digital Remaster) (5:30)
9. Can You Hear The Music (1994 Digital Remaster) (5:33)
10. Star Star (1994 Digital Remaster) (4:25)

.

Very satisfied
That is all lies, I would go up to Some Girls and say all albums are extremely good. I always heard tha Exile On Main Street was the last great Rolling Stones album. Angie is on here which makes the album great, but great album tracks like the first three, Hide Your Love, Winter, and some other songs are what makes this all together just as good as their last four albums.

Very Nice.

It is great. If you have yet to hear this one--do so immediately.

Track 2 is a definite highlight.
I'm not a damn music critic, but I know good music when I hear it, and this one has it.
