Good songs... Crunchy vocals
So, Instead of waiting on follow-ups I chose to explore one of the older albums. After loving the bands more recient material they really grew on me. "Kiss & Tell" is annoying in some ways. Andersson (The lead) sings like she has a huge lump on her tongue and that gets ridiculous. I can only hang-in-there so long before I start squinting my eyes & gritting my teeth. There "are" a few good songs on "Kiss & Tell" though. "Stupid Tricks" "Stay or Stay Away" "Keep Calling Me Baby" "Hangin'" "The Difference Between Love And Hell" and "Empty Heart" they're all danceable songs that one can groove and boogie to. "Walk On the Wire" "Nerves" "Hot Night Crash" are the wilder songs of the album. "Who Do You Dance For?" & "Mind Over Matter" are milder than the others. My favorites of them all are "Empty Heart" "Stay or Stay Away" "Who Do You Dance For" & "Stupid Tricks". "Kiss & Tell" is not as good of an album as the later ones, I can hear lots of improvement in the vocals and how the band plays on the later albums. Ya' have to start somewhere. IMO this album would have to grow on anyone who loves the later Albums. The Vocals really tend to frustrate me at times, It sounds like something's wrong with her mouth, until I just wanna turn it off.

Copy protection hazzard
When I place the CD in any drive and try to listen it resets my computer. The album is OK but, the copy protection is terrible. I also have an expensive Bose portable CD player. It does not recognize this as a CD. So be warned MAY NOT WORK in your player! No help from Sony, RCA or BMG.

Great
The sound is better produced than on earlier records but the songs still have a punky feel, more so than the Donnas for example (who tend towards hard rock). Very well produced record by this excellent Swdish grirl group. It is not understandable why they did not become huge with this record.

And it gets worse
Same problem: All sizzle and no steak (i. Hard to believe, but this band managed to make an album even worse than Jennie Bomb, which was pretty weak in and of itself. e. , songs), only this time they seem to think they can make a pop move and the production is even wimpier. If you're wondering why major labels are faltering and losing money as of late, then look no further than releases like this. This makes a bunch of average rockers like the Donnas look like the Stooges in comparison. Oh, and it failed commercially. Go figure.

almost great
It may not be as raw as their previous two records buut it is great. Excelent production values but the sound remains rocking hot. Thez have a slightlz more poppz sound which is whz it did probablz not come over as well and did not do as well as the previous release did.
