Customer Reviews Very hot ! It might be one of its best in my mind. Another incredible album from an incredible guitar player. If you like electric guitar and you don't have this album (or any other Satriani's cd), you are clearly missing something, Joe is without a doubt one of the finest guitar player on our planet !. Good Tunes, Good Vibes, A Great Buy! This is yet another great album by him, and fans of good music and guitar magic should check this out. Joe Satriani creates such great music for us to listen to it's just mind boggling. Right off the bat he comes at us with three five-star tracks, and keeps it going strong throughout the album. Another standout track is Summer Song, which was featured in a Sony commercial. Very cool. I have nothing but good things to say about this album. It is essential Joe Satriani. Five stars. Joe Satriani the true guitar virturoso. This particular album is one of his best. I am a guitar player, and of course I love Joe Satriani's music. The first track "Friends" Is cool because of the emotion, and joy that each note brings to my heart. I like the title track "The Extremist" because of its raw sound and melody. One of my favorites though is the song "War" I like how Joe Satriani uses the Wah Wah Pedal in this song for melody and for killer guitar solos. THis album is a must buy for any guitarist.
