Country girls love this album...
Makes you think of that farm boy with the farmer's tan steering his dad's tractor. Why hasn't anyone mentioned the hugely popular "Some Girls Do" in their reviews?? What a great song! Fun, makes you think of summer, makes you picture that cute boy you liked trying to impress other girls.

And the title track is awesome - I love this song so very much as it highlights life.

Sawyer Brown is a terrific, down-home band. If you are not really into country, they truly probably aren't your cup o' coffee. But if you loved Kenny Rogers, Dottie West, Lee Greenwood, the Oakridge Boys and the Kentucky Headhunters (not to mention Hank Jr. ), you will love this band!.

Another fine album from the boys
The singles taken from this album were the title track and Some girls do. The songs on this album were all written or co-written by Mark Miller, although one of them (The walk) had previously appeared on Buick.

The songs are a mix of ballads and up-tempo songs. My favorite tracks apart from those already mentioned are Ruby red shoes, Fire in the rain and Ain't that always the way. Among the other fine songs is When twist comes to shout, but I could have done without the carnival prelude.

This is a typical Sawyer Brown album of the early nineties, although I think that Buick and Outskirts of town are stronger. Nevertheless, Sawyer Brown fans will find much to like about this album.

Great "attitude" music
It has a good beat throughout most of the songs with a couple of great ballads thrown in. This is one of the few CD's that I actually like listening to all the songs. If you like Garth Brooks' "Friends in Low Places" and "The Dance", you should love this CD.
