Debut album still among their best
It features the country hits Leona, Used to blue and Step that step, together with many other excellent songs. Sawyer Brown has recorded many fine albums but this remains among my favorites. About half of the songs here are up-tempo, good-time songs but they are no mere lightweights, as some would have you believe. There are enough ballads and mid-tempo songs to provide plenty of variation.

Country fans will particularly love Smoking in the Rockies, one of those name-dropping songs that provides an excuse to list a lot of country singers in one song. With its catchy chorus line (smoking in the Rockies, rocking in the Smokies), this could so easily have been chosen as a single.

I am a huge fan of Sawyer Brown, but this is certainly among their two or three best albums, along with Buick and Outskirts of town.

music lover
I never get tired of hearing them. I'm not a huge country fan, however, I do love Sawyer Brown. Thank goodness for Star Search back in the 80's or we may never have gotten to hear this fabulous group. I'd recommend this CD to any music lover, country fan or not.

Pure Sawyer Brown Quality
The songs are fabulous, and there isn't a single song that I skip over. Sawyer Brown is good listening, and this album is excellent. "Smokin in the Rockies" gets your feet to tapping! Good combination of tracks. You can't help but sing along!.
