I listen to is every year for about a month before christmas. This is my faverite christmas CD. I bought this CD again for my mother in law I think she'll enjoy it to. It really makes me think about the true meaning of christmas as well as the fun reasons for the season. .

I have always loved Sawyer Brown, but veered away from them and country music when I started walking closer to my Lord. What a blessing this CD has been to our family. I was watching the Gospel channel, and lo and behold they had Sawyer Brown on there singing Christian music. Was I ever thrilled!! I immediately started searching for their music, and came across this CD right before Christmas. The songs on this CD are so awesome, I will listen to it all year long. Thanks Sawyer Brown for bringing Glory to God! .


the best christmas album ever
it goes to your soul and stays there ! it takes you right to the real meaning of christmas away from how we have commericalized it. bar none ! this is the finest christmas album ever, You may or may not like sawyer brown but you will love his christmas album. it is contempary and you feel as if god guided these artists to produce an album that truly washes one clean emotionly. joy, hope, sadness, love, and peace are but a few of the feelings that rush through you. i can never listen to this album without a stronger appreciation of what jesus means to all of us. buy it and listen you will be thankful you did! .


A "Christmas Classic" from Sawyer Brown.


The group Sawyer Brown formed in 1981, and in 1983 they got a boost into the mainstream by winning Star Search (the American Idol of its time). When you think of Sawyer Brown you think of country music, but not so fast, "Hallelujah He Is Born" is an excellent CD for any Christmas collection. Since then, they have assembled 20 albums with many of their songs hitting the country charts. And they have proven on the road, over and over again, to be excellent live performers.

In 1997, Mark Miller (lead vocals) along with Gregg Hubbard (keyboards) wrote and co-wrote 6 out of the 12 songs that help bring out the joy, reverence and solemnness of the Christmas season. The songs "Oh What a Night in Bethlehem" and "Glory to the King" are timeless. The music is definitely a gift back to Christmas.

This collection of songs crosses genres and eras; and evokes the true spirit of Christmas. It is truly a contemporary classic.
