It was then that I knew this band was there to stay. The Eagle has landed was the third Saxon album that I owned.
This album captures the band in it's first hey day. It sounds great and is full of raw Heavy metal energy.
This is a true classic .
A great live album.
No other band has written such great songs about planes, trains and motorcycles. A great album from an under-rated band.
Saxon Crank Live !!
Saxon "Eagle Has Landed" leaves its "Eagle PT. D-mn good live album! Right up there with Accept's "Staying A Life",Dokken's "Beast From The East" and JP's "Unleashed In The East". 2" and "Eagle PT. 3" follow ups in the dust. Still sounds good after all these years and like a fine wine it has aged very well. . . . Enough Said.
