Hits happen
He is at his best when performing jazzy pop like "Lowdown," JoJo," and "Dinah Flo. I've never listened to any of Boz Scaggs's original releases, but I've enjoyed listening to his songs on the radio and I really like this compilation. " There are too many cheesy ballads like "We're All Alone" and "Look What You've Done to Me," but to be honest, I kind of like those songs, too. "You Make It So Hard (to Say No)" is one of the happiest tunes I've heard.


Not His Best Work
But, this album has only three songs that really represent Scaggs at his best. I love Boz Scaggs. Lowdown, lIdo Shuffle, and JoJo offer up that funky smooth soul that Scaggs does so well, but the rest of the songs in the collection are cheesy pop ballads. Go with his real albums and skip this one over.


Best album ever
My favorite song on this album is Miss Sun. This is my favorite album of all time.
I have bought this album 3 times because I lost one, one I wore out, and the last one I was able to download to my iPod.


I LOVE BOZ SKAGGS
What a performance!! This guy is so smooth! I realized I only had a broken 45 of Lowdown, purchased in the mid 70s. This summer, I attended a fabulous Boz Skaggs concert at Humphrey's by the Bay on Shelter Island, in San Diego, CA. So, this purchase fixed that problem for me! I am very pleased to now have Boz Skaggs [music] whenever I need it!!!.
