What's NOT to dig?
The wistful "Vanishing Point," in a minor key, with a synth-string quartet, may be the best cut. A little funk, a little jazz, a pinch of country, a dash of sarcasm ("You're Not") -- "Dig" reveals a mature songchef at the top of his game. Does his new label -- Gray Cat -- describe him? Perhaps -- no matter what the color, Boz has always been one hep cat.

Another outstanding Boz disc
It's cool - what else can I say? It's a little bluesy, a little jazzy, a little funky - and Get on the Natch is a riot. I love all Boz, and this is one of my favorites in the past 10-15 years. It's great to listen to loud or as background. Boz keeps on creating new and interesting music and I've been listening for a long, long time. Pick it up - you will not be disappointed!.

Terrific! Finally available again!
I don't know how many times I played Miss Riddle, my favorite song of the disc. Boz Scaggs returned with this sensational set of songs in 2001. It was the first on my ipod. Thanks To You and I Just Go followed short after. Roy Hargrove Jr. 's horns, Danny Kortchmar's minimalistic guitar riffs. David Paich on synths, Greg Phillinganes on piano. Together with a few others this small band of musical genius create an atmosphere, so warm and tender, yet also so light, sexy and jazzy. Wonderful music for a great evening. Get On The Natch delivers a nice mid tempo stomp in the middle, but otherwise this disc is simply cool.
And has a perfect cover to fit the music.

DIG - BOZ SKAGGS
This album is outstanding. . . great to sit back and relax. I bought this six years ago when it came out and wore it out. I am going to buy another copy and cant wait to get it. . . i miss it. . . par excellence as far as jazz goes. . . .
.

WOW
This is one of my top Boz Albums along with his first on Atlantic, Moments, Slowdancer and Silk Degrees. A wonderful hip album that is not trendy. So when will they finally release those missing Columbia albums on CD. The time is ripe!.
