Middle Man and Silk Degrees-must have blue eyed soul
Boz has soul, he rocks and is jazzy too! The vinyl copies I have are gathering dust but the CD's are among my top 50 that I frequently listen to. Even though Silk Degrees was recorded three plus years before Middle Man, I have to listen to the two works as if they were a double album. I mainly listen to these in my car so I can't comment on how good the technical specs are on the CD releases, they sound great to me! I rarely find myself singing along when I listen to music but I find myself joyfully joining in on many of the tracks on both of these CD's. From my perspective, Middle Man picks up where Silk Degrees left off. I only have one other Boz Scaggs CD, Some Changes. It is good but it does not have the replay value of Silk Degrees or Middle Man. These two albums are must haves IMHO. These CD's are bargain priced so do yourself a favor and get them both, queue them up and enjoy.

Isn't it time you KNEW!. This one ballad - You Can Have Me Anytime - is so beautiful, its indescribable.
