Damn these catz know how to party! This album, like their previous debut album, leaves a listener dancing till the sun goes down and creates a harmonic atmosphere. Once again Scissor Sisters have proved themselves with their funky beats and characteristic lyrics. The Scissor Sister's groovy tunes are complimented with the Jason Shean's unusual/upbeat voice. And once the disk is over just open up the second panel, which is presented as opening elevator doors, and pop in the bonus disk which does not fail to keep the party moving. Some songs that stand out from the rest are "I don't feel like dancin" from the first disk, "Making Ladies" and "Almost Sorry" from the bonus disk. .
Fabulous!
I'm sharing my copy with just enough people to make them want to buy their own. Absolutely fabulous album (although the elevator doors of my special edition get a little stuck).
Sissor Sisters Ta Dah
I listen to them over and over and never fail to enjoy them !. I love love love the Sissor sisters!!! They are funny, brilliant, and great to dance or work out to.
The Sisters
The first single released was the very popular "I Don't Feel Like Dancing". A great follow up to their debut album. Excellent song, video was fantastic. At first, I didn't like most of songs on the album, but at 3rd and 4th listening I fell in love, just like I did with the first album. This band is truly fantastic, and the album is definately worth buying. I hope you enjoy it as much as do.
pleasant sophomore sound
It just does not quite measure up to their previous CD. Ta-Dah by Scissor Sisters is a decent collection of songs. The arrangements a good and the recording is excellent, but there does not seem to be a really catchy or memorable tune on this CD as there was on the previous CD. It still is worth a listen to any "Sister" fans and it indicates that they are serious about their music and will most likely continue to produce very good music. .
