CD Purchase I did not find this acceptable as they should have been honest. I bought two cd's from two different places and both were listed as being new cd's but one of them was a used one. I paid the price of a new one for a used one and I should have paid less because the used ones were a lot cheaper. Lucky for me the cd is good and I really enjoy listening to it as I love the Scorpions music but I am not sure if I can ever trust the company that I ordered it from. The used ones were going for about $2-$3 while the new ones were about $9. .
Moment of Glory.....
The sound is dazzeling, I highly reccomend it. The Scorpions truly have a moment of glory performing with the Berlin Philharmonic. .
best mistake I ever made
When I first starting listening, I was thinking "what the heck is this?" After a little bit of listening, I was blown away. I bought this cd quite by accident thinking I was actually buying a greatest hits cd. This version of "Winds of Change" may be the most beautiful peace of music I've ever heard. Now, I can't bare listening to the regular "Rock you like a hurricane". It just sounds so empty and lame compared to the version on this cd. Definitely worth buying if you like rock and can appreciate something different. .
Life is good with "Scorpions!"
"Scorpions" are not the first or last music group that decided to play rock with philharmonic. . But this CD is one of the best! I took my time & deeply listened to the CD. Every time I found something new, something good! I still find new music details! It is a serious moment of glory for "Scorpions" & Berliner Philharmonic!
.
Got me hooked on Scorpions
It's gorgeous. I absolutely love the marriage of rock and symphony here. The Scorpions take already amazing songs and pump them up an extra notch. A long time ago I heard "Still Loving You" on the radio, not knowing who sung it. It took me years to finally discover the Scorpions. I own two different versions of "Still Loving You," and I far prefer this one to the original. It gives me this yearning inside. The only thing I don't like about this album is the guest vocalists. I love Klaus Meine. He adds an ethereal element to the music, and with the guest vocals, it takes away from the beauty, in my opinion. But don't let that deter you from getting this, because it is so worth it. "Rock You Like a Hurricane" is amazing! It's all amazing! .
