Wander the back streets of Cuba
This album is fantastic. Take away all the fancy production of BVSC, record the whole thing in your kitchen and hand the whole show over to Compay Segundo and you've got El Parana. The raw recording on this album gives the music such a real flavor. From start to finish this one is amazing. Sometimes I can't stand it I like it so much. It makes you feel as if you are wandering the back streets of Savanna and you just happen upon a smack in the face of out of this world musical experience. It's good.
