LE FALTA CALIDAD DE SONIDO
NO ES TAN BUENO COMO EL CHAOS AD,EN CALIDAD DE SONIDO,NO SE LE FALTA BRILLO.

Not as bad as people make it out to be.
I think it could have had more than 12 tracks and have featured more of Sepultura's masterpieces, but this comes with the "Sepultura Essentials": "Arise", "Roots", "Ratamahatta", "Refuse/Resist", etc. This is a decent album.

I, personally, prefer the albums "Roots", "Chaos A. D. ", and "Arise" to this album. However, it's better than "Beneath the Remains" and any album featuring that new vocalist (of course it is because this is still Max at least).

Overall: I say BUY THIS!!! Also, you gotta love the cover picture.

Another pointless cash-in from Roadrunner
Sepultura will no doubt go down as one of the best metal bands of all time, regardless of losing original vocalsit and founder Max Cavalera (who would go on to create Soulfly), so naturally, this compilation hardly covers the "best" of the Brazilian metal gods. Like Mercyful Fate, Type O Negative, and Fear Factory; Roadrunner Records is now milking (even more so) everything they can from the bands that made the label what it is today, even though none of those bands are still with the label. Some obvious choices are here, like "Troops of Doom", "Inner Self", "Arise", "Beneath the Remains", "Slave New World", "Dead Embryonic Cells", "Biotech is Godzilla", and "Roots, Bloody Roots"; but that's hardly the best Sepultura ever came up with. Where's the old, classic material like "Antichrist" and "Necromancer"? Not to mention that Sepultura released "Against" and "Nation" after Cavalera departed with new singer Derrick Green, though neither album gets covered here at all. As much as many fans dislike Green, you have to admit that a true best of compilation should have room for material from the Green era. All in all, this "best of" featuring Sepultura's name on it may be worth a look for ultra casual fans or new listeners to the band, but should otherwise be avoided by everyone else who already owns every album by the Brazilian metal masters.

Another Cash Scam
That's not a proper retrospective to a band's career. Let me just inform you on this: if it's a best-of collection released by Roadrunner records, don't waste your money buying a few mere tracks.

Here's the problem, Roadrunner just handpicked 12 of the band's most known songs. That's one off "Schizophrenia" (the re-recorded version of "Troops of Doom", two off "Beneath The Remains", three off "Arise", four off "Chaos A. D. " and the last two off "Roots". There's no songs off "Morbid Visions/Bestial Devastation" album and EP bundle Roadrunner re-released globally. And as much as I really am not into Derrick Green's material, you could have thrown in a few songs off "Against" and "Nation".

Don't buy this. Just purchase their albums to get a good retrospective of them first. If you enjoy a groovier side of music, check out "Chaos A. D. " and "Roots". If you're more into thrash, check out "Arise" and "Beneath The Remains" first. Believe me, just using the extra cash to purchase their albums will give you a better retrospective of their career than buying a cheap "best of" collection.

What? Best of?

Yes, the cd is full of Sepultura's commercially aired *hits*, but the real Sepultura isn't just limited to those. From quick look at the tracklist - one cd of songs isn't really enough to show what Sepultura is really about.
It misses some other important Sepultura trademark classics like Mass Hypnosis, Necromancer, Inquisition Symphony, To The Wall, Slaves Of Pain, Escape To The Void, Beneath The Remains, Lobotomy, Primitive Future, Altered State, Warrios Of Death, From The Past Comes The Storms, Kaiowas ect. A double cd wouldn't have been that bad by Roadrunner Records Company (tm).

Instead of buying this I recommend that you'd buy the actual albums by Sepultura.
