"Animosity" is not a travesty
Every song on this album is pure gold. I'm loving every minute of this. From "Tits on a Boar" to "Angel's Son," every one of them never borders on boredom. "Praise," one of Sevendust's biggest singles, deserves to be heard. "Crucified," "Shine," and "Damaged" are all close to perfect. "Xmas Day," one of the softest songs on the album, is particulary striking with its lyrics; the poetic music mixes in perfectly with the words. "Follow" features Aaron Lewis from the band Staind: him and Lajon make a great duo. "Live Again," "Beautiful," and "Redefine" can be best described as majestic. The closer, "Angel's Son," is a song dedicated to Lynn Strait, the lead singer for Snot who died in a car accident on December 11, 1998.

You can't go wrong with Sevendust's Animosity. It's one of the greatest hard rock albums that I've ever listened to.


Animosity Is A Sheer Winner!
I absolutely loved every single song on this record, even though I've love anything these guys create musically, lol. For starters, no question this is Sevendust's best effort to date of all their albums. Opening with a great sound called "Tits On A Boar", and follwoing that with their smash hit "Praise", probably my all time favorite song played by these guys, you just know this album is gonna be a treat. I literally still to this day can't get enough of this CD, and still listen to it all the time. .


Best Album Ever
Sevendust is known for their hard rockin' and melodic songs. This is not only Sevendust's best album, but my favorite album ever. This CD blends them together so perfectly, only God could create a better mix.

It's not something I can convince you in a review, just listen to it and you'll get hooked more and more each time. From the harder Trust and Crucified, and Praise to the more relaxing Xmas Day and Angel's Son, this is perfect.

if you like sevendust cause of their melody than this cd is great for you and if you like them for their hard stuff then this cd is also good cause they have a few heavy tracks here aswell. coming from a big sevendust fan i would have to say this is their best cd and i own them all. any fan of melodic hard rock should pick this cd up its worth it. my favorite songs on here are shine damaged crucified and live again.

this cd has it all, from the very first track to the last and everything in-between it delivers! non stop full throttle metal. incredible disc. sevendust does it again. one of their very best,and i have them all!!.
