the first time i heard it on a local radio station, rushed down to nearest cd store and found out what it was on a bought the 'for the love of the game' sndtrk. just as stated by others, this is a very uplifting song. this song is just awesome! (the rest of the cd was good too!).

It says so much about people. This song totally lightens my heart when I hear it. The line from Hope "And it's hope that keeps me holding on" is so incredibly true. I'm sure we've all felt that way at some point in our lives.
hope
Not one of those shoot 'em up type of songs. I like the inspirational message of the song.
perfect
The dance mix is great too. I love the song "hope", it combines shaggy's unique sound with very uplifting lyrics. . . I think almost any person would love this song (regardless of musical taste).
It is very uplifting
I love it. This song made me feel a lot better whilest I was very depressed.
