I'm as far away from country as you can get - love Blake Shelton!

Except for Patsy Cline, Johnny Cash, I have little in my collection. I'm a jazz musician and generally hate country music.

Driving through Idaho the other day, I heard Blake Shelton "The Baby" and my jaw dropped!

First impression - the voice! - worth listening to.
Second impression - lyrics - kept my hand off the dial.
Third impression - tears streaming down my face.

Did Shelton write this song?
Whoever did is a master song writer.

I am now a full blooded Blake Shelton fan - and I may also listen to more country music in the future.


Love Blake Shelton!
I've seen him live, twice, and he's just as good in person. What can I say, I have four of his albums and I love them all! I can't think of one song on ANY of the CD's that I don't like. Puts on a great show. I just about wore out all of his CD's as I've played them over and over. I turned all three of my girls into Blake Shelton fans.

I look forward to any new CD's he has coming out in the future. Blake is one of those artists that you don't need to hear any of the song before you buy them. You know you won't be disappointed.

Another great CD from Blake Shelton
Although "Georgia In A Jug" is an amusing song. This CD contains less evidence of Blake's "signature wit". But Blake's high energy is showcased beautifully in the song "Heavy Lifting". His sentimentality on display in "The Baby" brought tears to my eyes. This is another great CD from the artist who made me take another look at country music!

I was smitten by Blake Shelton's humor during the "Clash of the Choirs" and really hoped he would win the contest because of the amazing sound his choir produced. This prompted me to borrow every one of his CDs from the library. WOW! And I am NOT a country music fan! Well, maybe now I am. . . Blake's humor (and tender heart) comes through loud and clear in his music.


Terrific CD
His song "The Baby" reminds me of my younger son. Really enjoy Blake Shelton. I would recommend this cd.
