Awesome B-Sides
But these two bonus tracks are, well, B-sides! That doesn't mean they're not good songs. It's always interesting to hear what bands (or in most cases, the record companies) view as B-Sides. Most of Radiohead's B-sides were actually better than some of the songs on their first two full length releases. But these two songs just didn't fit the album in my own opinion. "We're Not Lonely" sounds little too much like "Waiting All Day" as far as the arrangement, maybe that's why it was left off. But it's still a sweet song. "Barbarella" is out there and sounds much like a fuzzed out slower paced version of maybe "If You Keep Losing Sleep" but without its magic. Again, it's an awesome song. I liked it after I first listened to it. This single release is actually a lot better than the "Reflections of a Sound" single. I think releasing singles with LIVE B-Sides are ripoffs! I heard that supposedly on the "Mind Reader" single, we will finally get to hear more demos for the album. We can only keep our fingers crossed!!!!.


a couple of catchy B-sides...
I bought this CD to hear the B-sides "We're Not Lonely. . But We Miss You" and "Barbarella. " Out of the two, "We're Not Lonely. . . But We Miss You" is probably more in line with the sound of "Young Modern. " I like it but it's not my favorite, although I have a sneaking suspicion that it is one of those songs that grow on you. I loved "Barbarella" from the first listen. It has a different sound with a very catchy groove and melody.

If you couldn't get enough of "Young Modern" then it's definitely worth getting this CD to have 2 more Silverchair songs to enjoy.
