Potter's Field Thank you for this cd. This product was in good condition and works very well.
Their followup is just as good as the first!
For their second release they stuck with what they do best. Hey, you couldn't ask for anything more from 12 Stones. Good commercial rock. That however, doesn't make it bad by any means. Maybe if your sick of modern rock this won't do, but If you're like me and enjoy a lot of rock like this then I'm sure you'll find something on this album to enjoy. I liked pretty much every track here. Still, because it doesn't offer a new sound that does hold it back slightly but it still doesn't take away from the music. Hey, if it sounds good, it's good. My favorite tracks would probably be "Shadows", "Waiting For Yesterday", "Bitter", and "3 Leaf Loser".
1. Shadows - 10/10
2. The Last Song - 10/10
3. Far Away - 9. 5/10
4. Speak Your Mind - 10/10
5. Lifeless - 10/10
6. Bitter - 10/10
7. Photograph - 9/10
8. 3 Leaf Loser - 10/10
9. Stay - 10/10
10. Waiting For Yesterday - 10/10
11. In Closing - 9/10
Overall: 96% A
I'd have to say I think 12 Stones were able to pull off an even better album than the first. The first though still has a couple tracks that surpass anything on this album though and that's probably why I still think the self-titled comes close. All around their second release is pretty solid and will please fans of the first record as well as anyone who enjoys modern rock.

Getting better with each release!
Kevin Dorr's replacement in the line-up by Greg Trammell hasn't hurt them probably since Kevin's still collaborated in writing all the songs. I liked this one better than there first (which was great). Great tempo and mood changes in the songs. I like music that can make you feel something and just doesn't sound great and this CD fits the bill. Keep rocking 12 stones!! I look forward to your next!.
Good Sound Bad Songs...
most of the songs were not for me and they had no rythme to them or meaning, but here are some songs that i did like. This is 12 Stones second album and it's not as good as the first, well, the sound the music part was.
1. Shadows
2. Last Song
3. Bitter.
Captivating
The band comes off more in the vein of breaking benjamin and staind with PF, which seems to suit them a little bit better. Eager to shake compairisons to the band creed, 12 stones offered up "potter's field", a 2004 rock release with more of a melodic alternative metal approach. Songs open with thrashing guitars and move into subtle, but catchy, verses. Even for those of you who sit patient just for the chorus', PF is a winner. Song for song, PF is worth every penny. Two years later, I still pick this record up and throw it on from time to time. So if you havent heard from 12 stones lately, listen again. You'll be in for a surprise. .
