The first track-Lady soul is excellent. Excellent cd.
To be continued is outstanding. Listened to it over and over.
Fine Mess is excellent also. I really enjoy this cd. Thank you temptations. The singers are simply talented and the songs
are beautiful with true meaning, 100 percent better than this
stuff they call music today. Original songs, no remakes or warmed
over junk. Worth purchasing!!!.

Liked, Not Loved
Though the men have excellent vocals, I don't know; I wasn't really moved by any of the songs. I give this cd a 4 star. They seemed overproduced and too slick and poppish. My spirit wasn't moved. There is nothing like communing with the spirit(s). I know I am comparing in my head their 1975 A Song for You, which I absolutely loved. The music and the songs stay in my head long after I have taken them out of my cd player. All of the tracks moved me in some way. That cd seemed more earthy.

I really liked this cd, but love, no. However, I would highly recommend it. As I said, the vocals are excellent. .

PLEASE CONTINUE
But, when To Be Continued was added. If Lady Soul was the only song on here this would still be a great album. OH boy. That has to be one of the most underrated songs around.

The 6th Temptation
I made a commitment back in the vinyl days to own every LP that the TEMPTATIONS ever made, good or bad. I have been a Tempts fan for over 40 years. Purchasing this CD is part of my effort to have digital versions of the classics I own. That all being said this effort is one of my favorites of the Tempts in the 80's. It is a great showcase of Ollie Woodson's talent. If you still collect CD's then this is a must for your CD player or a download to your Ipod. Enjoy the title tune and Lady Soul. you won't be disappointed. The Temptations are forever.

ONE DAY I'M GOING TO LEARN. . .
Because I pretty much gave up on finding a CD for this because I never could find one in the local stores. One day, I'm going to learn to start checking Amazon first for things. I still have the cassette from college and LOVE IT. And I have to agree with the reviewer who said that the cut "Someone" is worth the price of the CD alone because they tore that one up!!! It's one of those powerful songs you don't forget.

But it's not the only one. There are also some other good ones that I never heard on the radio. It just goes to show that some of the best songs never see the radio or the so-called "pop charts".

I placed an order the other day and at the time I couldn't think of anything else to add to bring me up to $25 for free shipping. I wish I'd thought of this because this would have brought me about where I needed to be plus this great CD would be in the mail on the way to me. Oh well. . . live and learn!

But yes. . . this is definitely a great, underrated Temptations album. Otherwise, I wouldn't still be holding on to the cassette since the 80's - LOL!.
