Alvin Lee rocks
They are electrifying. Ten Years After and Savoy Brown are 2 of Britains most underrated bands ever. This is a classic all the way. I encourage all people who like the blues, rock & roll and soul to check this out. It ROCKS. Peace.

Great tunes even today.
Alvin and crew come thru on this one as well, I was lucky enough to see them perform these songs and others while stationed in Japan.

Best album they ever did
Alvin Lee was the best blues/rock/metal? guitarist of his time. This is, arguably, the best album Ten Tears After ever did. There isn't a bad song on the entire album. Start your Ten Years After history lesson here and go from their.

a space for this disc on your CD shelf
It's much different from the other Ten Years After albums because it has atmosphere that almost sounds like prog rock at times (even though the music is far from progressive). This one is a classic. They never made another album like this ever again.

"One of these Days" has become a favorite in recent years, and of course, the big hit always WAS a classic. This album just has a lot of atmosphere compared to other albums by the band, and ends up sounding much different as a result. This is a GOOD thing though, because we need some diversity from time to time.

"Let the Sky Fall" is my favorite song. Love the beautiful guitar solo in the middle.

The mellow approach to the bluesy style is really a special one. I recommend this album to fans of 70's rock and people who can appreciate songwriting that's pretty good. .
