The D is bad aaasssss!
This CD soundtrack plays so fast that I just listen to it over and over. Tenacious D is acoustic rock and roll, heavy metal comedy. A must buy. If you didn't see the movie, "Tenacious D and the Pick of Destiny" then get that too.


NEVER GOT IT
I bought this record along with the other Tenacious D album on the same day, but this one I never recieved. . so I really can't comment until I got it again. . . Til then, bad review!.


Tenacious D does it again!!
It is full of great one liners and a couple of great cameos. This movie is pretty much a history of how Tenacious D came to be. The dynamic between Jack Black and Kyle Gass is great. It is recommended for anyone who is a fan of The D and also should be seen by anyone who is unfamiliar with the group but enjoys other 2 man novelty acts such as Flight of the Conchords.


a weak effort overall
but if you liked the movie or their first cd then i reccomend it completely. tenacious d is a great band who expertly mix rock and comedy and this soundtrack from their film and the most of the songs are keepers,bit overall this cd doesn't mesh well and alot of the songs get old after awhile and this just isn't their best.


Not their greatest work


Their regular music is much more hardcore than what's on this album. I know it's out of the movie, but it's targeted AT the movie and not just a general mush of music.

Though I gotta give Kickapoo and The Final Showdown the honors for the greatest songs on the album. They almost compete with Tribute and Wonderboy.
