Incredible, better than the studio versions!
If you are a Thin Lizzy fan, you probably already have this. What a shame that this CD is only available a such a high price. If you don't, it is essential. For the beginner, this would have been the best CD to buy first. The songs on this disc made me buy a whole lot more Thin Lizzy than I would have without owning this. The versions of Suicide, Emerald, Jailbreak, Vagabonds, and especially Whiskey in the Jar, are better than the studio versions on the albums. The version of Whiskey is way better than the one that Metallica did a few years back, too. It seems that whenever I want to listen to Thin Lizzy, this is constantly the disc I reach for. The song selections are very good and diverse, some slow, some really rockin'. If you can find a copy of this CD, without spending an arm and a leg, get it without hesitation!.
