Customer Review Overlooked and Underrated Victim of being thrown in with much more POP bands from the time like Matchbox 20. Third eye blind is one of the most underrated bands to emerge from the rock scene of the late 90's. This bands songs are about deep seeded, controversial issues like suicide, drug addiction and prenancy. Due to the mainstream success of several songs from their self titled debut album, they were accepted as belonging in the group between boy bands, and rap-rockers. The second half of self titled, that did not receive radio play, was gritty and moving; as was the majority of their follow-up, Blue. A great combo of cd's.
