Customer Reviews The Best of BJ Thomas Gospel, Live " God is first in my life and I love praising Him most. This was my absolute favorite of BJ's collection - especially the "Old Ruggged Cross" and "Amazing Grace" along with "Just a Closer Walk With Thee. The spiritual music gives me most joy although I enjoy BJ's older songs, these songs bring peace to my soul. I pray that BJ lives the words of the songs he sings on this CD and you also. God Bless you. The Best of B.J. Thomas Gospel: Live Blessings to Amazon!. Very good, but not greatly inspirational. Disappointing J. I have always loved B. Thomas' rendition of Mighty Clouds of Joy, but this Live album and its jazzy version of traditional songs was a huge disappointment. So much so that I returned the CD after hearing most of it. Having heard the previous versions of the same songs by B. J. , I can say that this CD and its renditions have not aged well. . You can see a complete list of all B.J.
