George is still the baddest! \m/. This album is awesome, and proves once again that George Thorogood is an unstoppable, rock N roll, Bada$$.
George is still bad to the bone!!!
To me
I think.
I like The Dirty Dozen alot! But his older albums are better. It's nice to know that these boys are still around and playing
good old time Rock & Roll and blues too.
if you like thorogood you'll like this
the 6 new tracks (8 if you have special edition)are all welcomed editions that rock as hard and as fast as anything he's ever done and the 6 old tracks(album cuts only hardcore fans would now) are all great tracks that manage to sound just as fresh as the new tracks. plan and simple this is just what we've come to expect from george and the boys good old fashioned rock n roll with down and dirty blues feel courtesy of george's slide guitar.
all in all its a great album for any lover of rock n roll and if you dig this pick up his greatest hits(if you don't already have it).
George Thorogood and the Destroyers
You can listen to clips of each song on this CD on Amazon. Always love this group plus the songs in this CD are great in my opinion.
Phoenix Fan
Too cooooool. . Best up tempo rock and blues around; similar to Stones meet Muddy Waters. Great for that road trip or put on at a party. I saw George and the Destoyers in concert in Phoenix, picked up the CD on the way home. Born Lover and Howlin' for my Baby are favorites off of Dirty Dozen.
Get a chance to see 'em on tour. . . do.
Plays a couple songs off this CD.
Tossed me his guitar slide after the encore; I'm a fan for life.
