Welcome to the Best Rock Album of the Decade They kicked off their career with Set It Off, which contained more of a rap-core sound. Thousand Foot Krutch is most likely one of the best known Christian artists of all time. . . they moved on to hard rock in their second album, Phenomenon, which, in my book, topped the charts. They kept the hard rock/alternative sound in The Art of Breaking and The Flame In All Of Us--both exceeded expectations in all of us TFK fans. . . . But Welcome To The Masquerade has no equal. The opening track, The Invitation kicks off the album, gradually building up the energy sure to be released with the next track--the title track. Welcome To the Masquerade starts off immediately with TFK's well known crunchy rock sound. And continues to please our ears with the upbeat, energy-fueled Fire It Up. Bring Me To Life and E For Extinction are the next tracks, and they continue to fuel the album with the energy it needs to keep going! They are my personal favorites on the CD. Watching Over Me is a more spiritually driven track, talking about how God is watching over us no matter what. The Part That Hurts The Most (Is Me) is lyrically darker and deals with emotions and pain on a very personal level. Scream is yet another favorite on the album, and does not disappoint. Look Away is a beatiful song that never fails to bring tears to my eyes. Outta Control and Smackdown both bring the album to a point where its ready to close. And then finally Already Home closes it up with a gorgeous, uplifting message. This CD is my favorite CD of all time. I think it will always be one of my top 5. Go listen to it. You will not be disappointed, guaranteed. .
Awesome
Their hardcore style is what I enjoy the most, but they have a softer side as well. This is one of the few Christian rock bands that can trully hold their own. Welcome To The Masquerade is one of the best, and I would rank them up there with some of my favorite main stream bands. You have to listen to the music to know if you like it, so listen!.
A step forward
Probably the most astounding aspect of this CD is that it incorporated many of their styles into one place. From "Thats what people do" to the recent release of "Welcome to the masquerade - Thousand Foot Krutch has flourished touching upon many genres during their time. Personal I had been praying that I might seen that shown throughout the CD and TFK definitely delivered. For anyone who loves hard hitting fast paced rock with the occasional slow pitched curveball, get this CD because it will change your view of music indefinitely .
I love it
I find the songs easy to relate to. Welcome to the masquerade is another amazing album. Also there is a song called Fire it up which makes you go insane on the inside. TFK just does not disappoint. Another album I fell in love with.

They've done it again..and better!!
If you are looking for some sickly sweet hard rock, Welcome To The Masquerade, Fire It Up, Bring Me To Life, E For Extinction are for you. Thousand Foot Krutch has done it again, but better this time!! They've kept the same old rock sound for some songs, but have stepped it up a notch and made it harder. If you are looking for an '80s sounding fight song, Smack Down is for you. Want some beautiful ballads? Then Watching Over Me, Look Away, and Already Home are for you. Welcome to the Masquerade is all about how we hide the hurt inside of us behind "masks," and Look Away is about hurt, so listen to this if you are hurting, my friends. Forward Motion is about holding on and moving forward. This album is full of hopeful anthems, for the broken. You can enjoy it if you aren't "broken" or hurting, so purchase this baby, baby!!.
