Bye Bye Chuck
I saw Chuck live 2x and I'll admit, I was happy to see him. These guys still sound great, even without Chuck. I've seen TDN 5-6x and I was not disappointed. Being only 42 yrs old I missed all 3 guys together. I think it would be great to have ALL of the living members perform together again. I'm not at all mad at TDN for not teaming up with Chuck again. He did them a great disservice by getting involed with drugs. He threw away a tremendous career and the carears of all the others with his mistakes. I will support both. Even though Chuck is clean now (Is an addict ever truly clean?) he doesn't deserve their respect.

All of their songs have been re-arranged to work around Chuck and added voices to help fill the void. Anyone that's seen TDN live will not notice the missing voice. Bringing him back might only be a distraction, as he seems to be "unlier than thou" and it's all about him and his addiction now. I wish he'd just sing and stop talking about it all the time. He is no hero to me, he brought his problems upon himself and he rightly deserves all then TDN gives him.


No Chuck!
Then in 1997, they offered to let him join as less than a full member making less money. Can't be Three Dog Night without Chuck! He and Cory had almost all of the hits, with Danny only having 2! Sadly in 1993, after getting clean, Chuck tried to re-enter TDN, and was rebuffed by Cory. He was the guy and they offer to make him a junior member? Danny left the band first! Musically, no Joe and Floyd either! Not the real thing!.


Very Dissapointing
If you were really a Chuck Negron fan, you would know that Chuck is in another league then Danny and Corey and he always was. I am so tired of people writing reviews and saying that Chuck Negron needs to swallow his pride and work it out with Two Dog Night. He has no reason to hook up with them again. Have you heard their latest live album. These two guys NEED Chuck, Chuck doesnt need them. Chuck doesnt need to swallow his pride, he has every reason to be proud. So, stop insisting that he tries to get back with TDN before its "too late". What does that mean anyway??
As a fan of Chuck Negrons, I hope and pray he never gets back together with that bad element. Also, I think they are two very rotten people anyway. They cannot sing with the heart that Chuck Negron has because they dont have the heart that he has.
I pray for Chuck to never reunite with these two guys who NEVER mention him and try to pretend he never existed. If anyone wants to hear some great Three Dog Night songs, I suggest the Chuck Negron DVD from 2004. And if you want to hear the true story of TDN, I highly reccomend THREE DOG NIGHTMARE: THE CONTINUING STORY OF CHUCK NEGRON. You can get it right here on AMAZON.

Great Live CD
I absolutely love being able to cruise down the highway listening to live 3 Dog Night. Finally, Cory, Danny and the boys have gone one step further and provided some songs off the 35th Anniversary DVD with the Tennessee Symphony Orchestra on a CD. The only caveat I have with this album is when I ripped it to my computer, the information that was downloaded said the disc was "Live at the Forum" from 1969 and the graphics cover from that same album. Songs were listed the same as the Live at the Forum album but played like the listing on the back of the CD.
Computers aside, anything 3 Dog Night does works for me. Glad to have another piece of history in my stash! You guys rock!! Thank you so much!!.


Great Stuff
All the songs are great as they were when they first came out. Great CD. I recommend this to any fan of Three Dog Night and also to any new fans who just like great songs and great performances. .
