Romance Your Moods!
The German Import single comes housed in a slim-line jewel case, has 2 versions of "My Love" and is from his second album titled, FutureSex/LoveSounds. Justin Timberlake may have taken some time off but when he made his come back it was anything but ordinary! His style has vast appeal to many of all ages, as there are more mature lyrics, and excellent R&B dance tracks sure to make many desire for more!

This single has the typical moods of the nights at the club, party, or other pleasant setting.

Track 1, "My Love" featuring T. I. 4:43 has the nice techno effects common to many who visit the clubs often. This is not like the album version. There is the chirping sounds, nice thumping bass, climaxing synthesizers, and remarkable drum percussion, all producing different frequencies sure to enhance the song! Justin's voice is high in pitch at times as it later takes a dive to a lower sound both creating a uniquely varied effect! Additional vocals are by T. I. and background vocals are both Justin and Timbaland.

Track 2, "My Love" Instrumental 4:38 is somewhat similar to the previous track but the introduction is different, there are no rap breaks or singing, and the length of the song is a bit shorter. The heavy drums, clapping sounds, and techno effects are still vastly present. Since there are no words the beats are a bit more repetitive yet quite enjoyable. If you love to sing then this will be sure to please.

Hot beat, hot producer, and a hot guy. What more would you EVER ask for?
I. Timbaland laced it again, Justin laced it again (lyrically w/ Timbo and vocally) and T. wrote and threw down a decent verse.

This was one of THE biggest pop hits of radio a year and a half(+) back!

I still remember how badly they overplayed this one. The only songs off this particular album (FS/LS) that was played overly-so and more-so was What Goes Around Comes Around and SexyBack (puts head through a blender).

This song was one of the best on the album and will continue to be years from now. The album was very solid (surprisingly) with some filler, and the gems of the album were Until The End Of Time and even more-so, Another Song All Over Again. . .

Sense Of Soul
Although he has succeeded wilingly and well, there are some songs where he could just use a bit of improvement. Justin Timberlake is somebody who is really trying to seperate his image, away from his era as a part of N'SYNC. His latest song is a swing into him experimenting into the soul category. My Love, the second single from Future Sex Love Sounds is a transition into a driven soul sound with Timberland and T. I. The song sounds not too bad, but I just wish that there could've been a bit more to bring out. Although there really isn't much out there right now, it is a good song on the radio.

Timberlake and Timbaland Produce An R&B-Techno Mayhem
I am honest here, I did NOT buy the album, though it seems like everyone has. Justin Timberlake took the world by storm when he came back with his comeback album, FutureSex/LoveSounds. You see, I wasn't at all impressed with "Sexy Back", it's ooh aahs and catchy phrase-starter "I'm bringin' sexy back. ".

Therefore, I wasn't too excited to hear Justin's got this song out called "My Love". However, upon listening, I discovered what would be a. . . well. . . average song compared to "Senorita" or "Rock Your Body", two of Timberlake's best songs.

The song follows an R&B-near techno pattern. The song starts with the continuous and flavorable thumping beats by Timbaland. Then it flows (somehow) into an R&B love song, similar to 2003's popular "Cry Me a River".

The vocals still show Timberlake is still not the best singer alive. I really dislike his R&B song for this matter: He squeals and does not sing. In the chorus, however, he nearly redeems himself with powerhouse vocals.

To add to the song is T. I. 's forgettable yet necessary contribute, adding in a few rhymes. I think the only problem is that T. I. sounds really, really good on this beat. Simple fact, it attempts to be a dance song when it really isn't. Add all the synths you want, it doesn't convince or hide the fact that THIS IS NOT REAL R&B.

Timberlake's "My Love" is a step up from the annoying and plain generic "Sexy Back", but Timberlake has had better previous hits than this one. 3 stars.
