HIDE YOUR TOOL ALBUMS!!! The Majority of TOOL fans are known for being some of the biggest scumbags on the planet, which I wholeheartedly believe after LATERALUS was stolen and AENIMA was stolen twice. I had to buy this album again because someone had stolen it from me about a year ago. I now keep my tool albums (especially salival) hidden from plain sight in my apartment and I keep a closer eye on people that my friends bring over.
Nevertheless, great album, only one track on here is skipworthy.
AWESOME
They are so very good at what they do. It's hard to overrate Tool. I finally took the time (at this late date!) to actually listen to this particular CD. I've been sidetracked, to say the least, but just recently I started listening to Undertow and Aenima in patches, then got totally hooked on them again, and realized hey, I haven't listened to 10, 000 Days--AT ALL! What a horrendous crime. Of course I sampled the stereoscopic images when I first bought it, for which Mr. Jones won a GRAMMY (Best Recording Package), no less. I'm already way into stereoscopes and Viewmasters, so that was just sweet icing on a good-looking cake. But holy droogs, what a cake. This is a monster of the highest order. Personal favorites: Vicarious, Jambi, The Pot, Rosetta Stoned, Right in Two. I could cry over this. AWESOME work, brothers. .
amazing
this is not an album that you want to download, it is heavily wrapped up in a hard cardboard case, with built in stereoscope and fixed album artwork, causing it to appear 3d. I've always been a fan of tool, and this is the second album I have bought. the only problem i have with this album is the lack of lyrics and subdued vocals, making meanings (however ambiguous) unintelligible at times especially during rosetta stoned where they are rapidly sped up and distorted. overall a great album and a recommended buy for the physical copy.
Tool is awesome. :)
Came in good time for snail shipment and was in absolutely perfect condition and packaging could take a bullet. Well there's not much tool merch available in India so the only place I could source this wonderful piece of art without paying an arm and a lef was Amazon. Excellent product too. The album is completely worth it and the artwork will blow your mind. 5 stars.
Love 90% of it
There's two songs on this that I don't love. Vicarious might be my favorite Tool song of all times. The rest I found to be amazing. .
