Not the original US release
This version is the original Canadian release and is their 2nd album. This is a great album, the 1st one I ever bought for myself, but it is missing 4 of the original songs. The 1st Canadian album, In the Beginning, includes It Takes Time, 24 hours a day, Street Fighting Man and Blinding Light Show.
Get them both and burn the best songs onto a greatest hits cd.

Good Memories
The price was right. I was glad to find this album(cd). It was shipped quicker than had been promised. And, it was in excellent condition.

One of the best rock albums of all time
Triumph was a Canadian band that was pretty big in the late 70's early 80's and this is the cd that got them known the best. If you like your rock with feel and lots of groove, you need this cd. Triumph has put out some stinkers, but this one folks totally rocks from start to finish.

This is the newly remastered one and it does sound very good. However the original album's sound quality was also very good considering it was released in the late 70's, so why should we expect anything but top notch quality here? I love this cd and it's one of my favourites for straight ahead classic rock. I'd say it's right up their with Boston's first release. If you like that old fashioned guitar rock, you need this cd in your collection! This release is 100% accurate to the original album that was released way back when. No extra's or cuts, just 100% true to form.

Oh and for the guy who keeps bitching about it not having his favorite song (insert blinding light show/moon child here!!!), it was never on this album, it was on their first release and was the last track in fact. Check it out!!

Canadian rock rocks!!!!!!!!!!!!

Their best!
As for the other two reviews, those missing songs are on "In The Beginning". This is Triumph's best album. A couple songs from that album were apparently tacked onto "RnR Machine" when it went to CD, and the first album was taken out of print. With "In The Beginning" back in print, there is no need for repetition, so buy both!.

The best song is here: The City
It contains an amazing song that my friends and I heard at that time which is "City". Please note that this cd is the release of the european version of this cd. It is an absolutely fantastic song, and the people in Canada and US paid horrendous sums at that time to get a copy of that record.
I know that Moon Child and Blinding Light show are missing here, but hey: if you are looking for a rarity once you will be blown away by the guitar of "City". . .
And you can still buy a copy of the original Canada/US version.
