excellent band have you ever wondered why most of the best metal bands come from british background? like def leppard, ozzy osbourne, manowar, triumph, iron maiden ect. these guys really rock the guitars and vocals are very unique this collection here includes most thier good stuff. just something to think about, but if you like the other bands listed here you should definately like triumph. a terrific compilation from a great band This super compilation features most of the hits that made them a force to reckon with like MAGIC POWER,FIGHT THE GOOD FIGHT,NEVER SURRENDER,SPELLBOUND,LAY IT ON THE LINE and an excellent cover of the Joe Walsh hit ROCKY MOUNTAIN WAY. This is one of the best compilations from this great Canadian rock band whom I rate as good as Rush. I have the europian version of this compilation which features the excellent ALLIED FORCES and HOLD ON songs which are missing in this version. Anyways this compilation is worth much more than FIVE STARS. I would also recommend you to pick up their ALLIED FORCES,NEVER SURRENDER and JUST A GAME albums along with this compilation. IS GOOD AS IT GETS Apparently you think money grows on trees and that everyone could buy all of triumphs' studio albums. To the guy who rcommended buying all of TRIUMPH's studio albums instead of this anthology i say this. That sir is just not the case, What the hell is the point of owning all their albums, to show the music world how big a zealot you really are. EVEN though there are a couple of great tracks missing from this anthology, it still sums up the brilliant career of one of CANADA's Finest Bands. This is as good as it gets with these guys. Not bad, but could've been better. I just wish they wouldn't have included "Rocky Mountain Way" or "Love Hurts. This greatest hits album is not bad. " These are both cover tunes. Though they are not bad, they don't belong on a greatest hits album. To me, a greatest hits collection should be original songs by the artist themselves, not songs by other bands, such as Joe Walsh and Nazareth. I'm glad this collection includes "Blinding Light Show. " I wouldn't have bought it if it didn't. In my opinion, the collection would've have been complete if it included "Rock & Roll Machine. " Oh well, I guess you can't have everything. This album should've been released by another company, either from Canada or the United States. . A very good anthology , for the AVERAGE fan !!!!!! I have to start by saying, I HATE hits or anthology CDs. . There is always a great song or two missing. This 2 CD set is no exception. Where the hell is A WORLD OF FANTASY? This is huge when you talk TRIUMPH! I bought this set for the better sound quality, the older cds suck. (MASTERING) The TRIUMPH library was REMASTERED in 2004! The quality is even better than this set! As good as the latest Judas Priest,Queensryche,Ozzy-1995,I have the 2004 Never Surrender. I give this set 4 stars, not because A world of Fantasy is missing. But because there is no 5 star hits collection! If you want 5 star TRIUMPH buy their albams,they are well worth it!!!! .
