Sam's Last Boogie, Sing It One More Time Like That, Park Avenue & Tyson Street, How Many Times A Fool, and Lullaby have all been slightly revamped for the additional instruments--which doesn't take away from the originals. Best Tracks: Dead Egyptian Blues, Park Avenue & Tyson Street, Lullaby

This CD, originally released in 1992, has several songs that were previously released by Keith and Ezra when they sold only tapes.

This CD showcases what they boys are all about. Good music, good musicianship, and just a great album.

The Best of All
The lullaby version on here (with violins in the background) has me in tears, it is hauntingly beautiful. This one is the album I would choose to introduce adults to Trout.

There are a lot of just plain fun tracks on here too- Two Brains, Sam's Last Boogie and My Front Door come to mind.

Dead Egyptian Blues is a favorite track around our house. It is a very cool song (even though they did not write it) and performed extremely well.

This has the one Trout song that I do not like on it- Park Avenue and Tyson Street. It is a litle dirge-like and pitched too low. Every other song is wonderful, though.

No Matter What goes Right is such a beautiful love song with very clever lyrics.

They show us once again that they are consummate musicians with a great sense of humor.

I hope they continue to produce adult music as good as this.

The best Trout CD
It covers romantic songs (No Matter What Goes Right), Viciously Sad (You Can't Get There From Here), Family Love (Lullaby), and Comedic Cheatin' (Sam's Last Boogie). This is Trout's best albulm. If you listen to this albulm, you will be a Trout Fan forever. For a more acoustical Trout Albulm try Truth Is Stranger Than Fishin.

music for adults this time with some fine soulful harmonies
Some ballads about love lost lend it a soulful air, but as usual the harmony and composition is superb. This is a departure from their usual fare of kid-friendly stuff. My favorite so far!.

Family music just doesn't get any better!
This CD is one of my two current favorites (but may change as newer CDs are released). TFIA has been a favorite of mine for several years. My wife and I love this music, and used to see TFIA more regularly when we lived in Texas. Now that we are in Illinois, we make the trip to see them anytime they are near. As we get ready to have our first child, I cannot wait until the three of us can sing the songs together and all appreciate the music (as you can tell, my wife and I are kids at heart). TFIA is one of the last entertainers that you can appreciate with the entire family.
