MINE! Should be yours!
The amount of music, energy and joy these two have on stage is captured on every CD. Best Tracks: Mine!, 188 Wheels on the Big Rig, Carry Me

I've had the pleasure of listenging to Trout Fishing In America (TFIA) for nearly 20 years. MINE! is no exception.

TFIA's range in music is showcased in the children's CD. From MINE! which is done as a tango, to audience participation of 5 Little Ducks to the simple and quiet Count On Me.

This is a children's CD, but (as with all TIFA CDs) it's one that adults will love as well.

Another adult-friendly kid-music CD by the masters
There are precious few songs that adults can stand to hear two-thousand times in a row. If you have little kids, they like to hear a song about two-thousand times in a row.

TFIA has a lot of music that is tolerable two-thousand times. This CD has a lot of those tunes.

Buy this for the kids - your sanity will appreciate it.

Great music for the kids, big and small in your life.

We have had trout fishing in our collection long before we had kids. AS another reviwer wrote, big trouble is a bit better album, but this one still packs a punch of fun fammily entertainment. Once you go Trout fisning you'll never want to buy another stupid sugarly popular character Fad CD. .

Not as Good as "Big Trouble", but still great

While this album isn't as good as "Big Trouble", there are several tracks that are quite good. Compared to most others who write children's music (if you've seen the Wiggles, you know what I'm talking about), Trout Fishing in America writes songs that are smart and funny. "Boiled okra and spinach" will stay in your head for a while, and "18 wheels on a big rig" is just a trip. Ever heard anybody count to 18 in roman numerals? Quickly?

This album still receives 5 stars when compared to most other children's music. Even though "Big Trouble" is my favorite, we enjoy "Mine!" very much.

A Classic
I was hooked instantly -what a total riot! The other songs are terrific too, and the Trouts are wonderful musicians and great lyricists - wry, silly and tender. I first heard the "Big Rig" song while cruising in another family's car. Do yourself a favor - introduce yourself, your family or just about anyone to the Trouts. This is one 'kids' CD that will not make you gag when you hear it. Get it - you won't be disappointed.
