WHAT?!?!?! ONLY 10 VERSIONS?!?!?!
You think you can only come up with 10 mixes of the same song? We listened to all 10 and we are hungry for more!!!! Why did you leave out the reems of other mixes for this song? How about a part 2 with maybe 15 MORE remixes of the same song (who needs B sides anyway?) Why not include the "pancake mix"? We heard that one was really light and fluffy. Come on U2. And many of us are just itching to get our hands on the "Three men in a tub rub a dub dub club mix". We heard that one was sloshy and fun.


Magnified Magnificence

Remix singles can sometimes be flimsy, hit-and-miss affairs, but this one is both consistently inventive and packed to the gills with top-shelf efforts. This generous remix single is something of a throwback to U2's heady electro-flavored days, when they would pack an entire disc full of dance mixes for standout tracks like ACHTUNG BABY's "Mysterious Ways" and POP's "Discotheque. Depending on your mood, whether you feel like getting up and bouncing around the room or not, I think you'll find that some of these hypnotic re-makes soar even higher than the anthemic original.

P. S. You say you don't like remix singles? (GASP) Then please use common sense and spare yourself the aggravation of buying "Magnificent," thus sparing US the aggravation of having to read your sour review. Thanks. .


awesome club remixes
It is amazing to see that these guys after all these years can still make great music. . Bands may come and go but U2 is still around making sold out concerts around the world. People may not like them, but they're still the best band in the world and have that staying power and have stayed consistent over the years. Just look at all the bands that have come and gone and even great bands that are no longer around and some of them don't even write their own music like U2 has. Think about everything that U2 has done for AIDS and poor people around the world in the last 20 years and still doing it. . . most bands have done what they've done for less fortunate people so ney sayers should just keep their mouth shut cause they couldn't do it or wouldn't do it.

about the remixes, I like the 2,3 4,5, and 10 the best. . . they are awesome club mixes and would sound good in a club. I love the guitar rifts. . the Edge is awesome.

great 'Magnificent' remixes
10 remixes are on the CD, although some of the versions are almost the same. This is a very nice CD-single of Magnificent. But the price is good, so that is no problem.
The single is not available in Europe, so I am glad I could buy it via amazon. com
