UFO force itf. This is a classic GEM, if you are a fan of U. O you must own this, It Is so timeless and feels effortless and Micheal Schenker's solo's are always right on time very melodic and always amazing. This disc is for fans it has some of the most memorable song's with some great acoustic tracks, this is UFO in their prime!.
force it is great
The only complaint I have is that the crash cymbal sounds kind of dead, but micheal schenkers guitar work is the best ever. Force it is a great album because every song is good. Phill mogg sounds great also and the lyrics are unforgetable. five stars ,alot of really great rock albums came out this year and force it was the best one. UFO UFO UFO!!!!!!!!!.
no need to force it- just enjoy it!
Even more amazing is some rather spectacular songwriting combined with *just* the right amount of rock and roll, and you have yourself a winner. Alright, I'm convinced UFO is the perfect hard rock band- you have a lead singer who sings emotionally during the quiet parts, and aggressively when it's time to rock (with an incredible vocal range to make the enjoyment factor even HIGHER) and you have a guitarist who plays melodic, interesting, and exciting guitar solos and riffs.
Force It is just great from beginning to end. "Let it Roll" might remind some of old school Judas Priest, and that would be a nice comparison. The speedy vocals in this song just EXCITE and AMAZE! "Let it roll, let it roll. . . LET IT ROLL!"
"High Flyer" has some beautiful, honest, and emotional lyrics, and a melody and guitar solo to leave you completely shocked. The first time UFO ever attempted to make you cry THIS hard. I love it!!!!
"Shoot Shoot" is a glam rock masterpiece, similar to Alice Cooper's "Department of Youth". "Love Lost Love" is a fast-paced song with more great vocals and lyrics. A great guitar line in the beginning too. "Out in the Streets" and "Mother Mary" just continue to amaze me with the great vocals. Just highly memorable rock songs. "Dance Your Life Away" is fantastic and my favorite part is when the singer sings the line "California always seems to have the sun". A very hazey, and yet entirely beautiful piece of writing THAT is.
This stuff should NOT be as overlooked as it currently is! Come on, buy it now!
Oh, and I think Force It does a great job of combining the muddy sound of Phenomenon with some faster and louder songs, which is what we would experience on No Heavy Petting. Great great stuff.
Schenker again
A pleasure to sit and lisen to this entire CD non stop. Listen to great classic rock as Schenker continues to put on a show at lead guitar.
Still Worth 5 Stars
I have never tired of playing this album for over thirty years and it is still one of my favourites. How can you not give this five stars? This is great guitar orientated rock even though Andy Parker's cymbals sound awful. There are five classic songs that the band still perform live. "Let it Roll" and "Shoot Shoot" are great heavy rock standards and "Mother Mary" and "This Kid's" are two of the many highlights on the "Strangers" live album. Add to this the wonderful "Out in the Street" and you can forgive the dated production. The whole thing comes packaged up in another magic cover by Hipgnosis for less than a fiver (English pounds folks!) What joy!.
