Nuevas Mezclas is the heart and brain of EUDLF
It is just mes-me-ri-sing. This was my introduction to EUDLF. In principle, it is a series of remixes from previously released songs. Most of the remix process relies on Quimi's guitar. The sound is spectacular, better than the studio albums. Check out "Aviones Plateados", "Querida Milagros" , "Son 4 dias" and "No me acostumbro" are and sound better than the studio versions!! " Quien eres tu?" is a pearl: I have not found this one on any of the studio albums. "Insurreccion" is. . . well, it is a musical orgasm with that acoustic guitar. One of my favorites is "Soy un accidente", because it reflects deeply on who and what we are.
One last comment on "Querida Milagros": This is a moving love song against war and what it represents. It is narrated in first person plural and singular. It tells the story of a soldier in the Spanish Civil War (it is implicit) who was found dead and had with him a letter to his dear (wife? fiancee? ) whose name was Milagros - a Spanish female name with no equivalent in English- describing the horrors of war and the senselessness of being there.
If you have not heard EUDLF and want to try their best and get soaked with their aura, THIS IS IT. Look nowhere else.

An exceptional album a true gem!
The lyrics are deep and meaningful, musically eclectic, using Arab, Flamenco, and Rock influences in the songs. The songs on this album are extremely well composed and put together. I can listen to this album a hundred million times and never get tired of it. The songs that are my favorite are, Querida Milagros, Insureccion, Aviones Plateados, Las Leyes de los Hombres, the rest of the songs are first rate definitely qualifying as hits. This album more than any other put El Ultimo de la Fila on the map, back in 1987. Since that time they have achieved legendary status as one of Spain's best contemporary bands. Manolo Garcia, the lead singer is still making music today as a soloist, sounding much like this album. The best way to describe this music is Middle Eastern/Flamenco, Rock in Spanish, it's truly an amazing sound!.
