get the other album "Progress" Most of the songs just have a continuous pattern that doesn't go anywhere, no bridge, chorus, verses, etc. "Five" is a good track but that's about it. Just boring. There second album "Progress" on the other hand.
Great CD!!!!
I bought this one because my old one was wasted
These guys are Coming Straight Outta Goleta!!!
One of Santa Barbara's best bands ever
I dig the chick singing background vocals on one song.
It's okay, "Progress" is just better...
"Progress" in my opinion really shows what the band is all about because it displays everything they can do rather than a heavy machine-sounding album laced with screams. Well to start off I am a fan of the band just not a huge fan of this album. The screaming just gets on my nerves if it's done too much. "Progress" just has so much more to offer with less screaming. It started off well with a cool opener track leading into one of the best songs on the album "5". Despite such a great start the cd just doesn't deliver like I would have hoped. It does have some good tracks but there are some that are downright annoying due to the fact that it's cluttered with screams. Probably the best tracks on the album are "5", "Perfect", and "Wrapped", "Better Luck Next Time" is a pretty cool closer too. Here are my track ratings. . .
2. 5 - 10/10
3. Butter - 7/10
4. Slip - 6. 5/10
5. Suck - 9/10
6. Wrapped - 10/10
7. Perfect - 10/10
8. Sponge - 9. 5/10
9. Fired - 4/10
10. Worn - 7/10
11. Burnt - 4/10
12. Better Luck Next Time - 10/10
Overall: 79% C+
I don't know this album just doesn't do much. Maybe because it was earlier in their career they didn't want to mess with their sound too much like on "Progress". In my opinion I just feel "Progress" has more depth and is just an all around good album. It has everything for everyone. This one's okay, "Progress" is just better.

Sweet
Kind of a Ministry (PSalm 69) meets Static X (Wisconsin Death Trip). To the point this is a mixture of industrial and straight forward metal. The Guitar work is excellent with a great blend of clean and harsh vocals. Each track leaves you in an almost hypnotic state. Headphones make this CD a whole different experience. Check it out you won't be disappointed.
they rocked very hard......
honestly, this one is in my top 3 of all times. . . very intelligent original combination of sick ultimate hard core metal , discrete groovy techno beats, claustrophobic atmospheres, and strange poetic lyrics. . . . it's a musical catharsys, never overpassed since it was issued, even by Lo Pro (the reincarned combo of singer Pete murray and guitarist Neil Godfried). . . . How is it possible that this band dismissed so early after having issued this jewel. . . . . go for it absolutely . . . . . . .
