Love the Raw Sound, Lyrics and Style
I loved this album for two reasons. Yes - this is my kind of music!! Previously, I found this album by searching for the song "Follow Me", and then found the Seventy Two and Sunny album. The somewhat raw sound - I get so tired of hearing digitally perfected music - nobody sings perfectly. It reminds of the early Linda Ronstadt, CCR years. The pop/countryesque lyrics and melodies are original and made me want to sing along. Really great music - I hope to hear more from Uncle Kracker! .

This One Is A Keeper
Such a beautiful voice. I love every song on this album. . I am glad he finally realized this and put his talent to music. I have listened to this cd every day for two weeks. You truly get your money's worth with this cd. I have to say "Writing It Down" is my most favorite song on this one. He sings such a beautiful love song. Thank you Uncle for a perfect cd !!.

This is one GREAT cd
Oh, I'd seen him on the video with Kenny Chesney but as far as his music- I took a chance and bought this cd after reading about it in People magazine. Although I was familar with Kid Rock, I wasn't really that familar with Uncle Kracker. WOW is all I have to say. There is not one bad song on here and how many cd's can you say that about today? Matter of fact I can't remember a release since the Gin Blossom's, "New Misrable Experience" that is consistent all the way through from track to track. . and I buy alot of music. I HIGHLY recommend this one.

This is Uncle Kracker's best work yet!!!
I read in the liner notes that he was going through a separation from his wife at the time he wrote most of these songs, and then when they got back together, he changed some of the lyrics. This album could not have come out at a better time, for me anyways.

At this point in my life, I am going through a separation, brought on by my husband, and the songs touch my heart and have so much feeling in them, hardly a day goes by when I don't listen to this C. D. , and feel the pain. But it helps.

I have all 3 of his C. D. 's and thoroughly enjoy them all!.

Who's Your Uncle?
Uncle Kracker has a part-time solo project that he works on from time to time. In case you didn't know, Uncle Kracker is the DJ in Kid Rock's Twisted Brown Trucker Band. I recommend that you purchase all three of Uncle Kracker's albums. 'Double Wide, No Stranger To Shame', and 'Seventy Two & Sunny' are all masterpieces. Uncle Kracker's 'Double Wide' album consisted mostly of rap/hip-hop. His 'No Stranger To Shame' album consisted of a little mix of rap/hip-hop, country, bluegrass, etc. 'Seventy Two & Sunny' is pretty much all country, bluegrass, classic rock, etc. But if you're more into Uncle Kracker's rap/hip-hop side, don't worry. He still has it. He's just one of the few musicians out there, along with Kid Rock, who can do a variety of music. Most musicians can only stick to one kind of music, but Uncle Kracker if one of those specially gifted musicians out there. Buying all three of his albums will be worth your money for sure. His singles such as 'Follow Me, What 'Chu Lookin' At?', and 'Yeah, Yeah, Yeah' are on the 'Double Wide' album. His singles such as 'In A Little While' and 'Drift Away' are on the 'No Stranger To Shame' album. His single 'Rescue' is on the 'Seventy Two & Sunny' album. I just thought I'd let you know that. Maybe it would help you increase your chances of purchasing his albums. I hope this review helped.
