They might sound a bit too much like pop/rock and not enough punk for some people but for those who don't mind that, this cd is worth getting for the catchy songs that will be stuck in your head for the rest of the day. I haven't heard too much of the older Unwritten Law, but I can say that this cd is great. Now I got this cd for pretty cheap but it is the edited version of the album so it contains all of the same songs as the Parental Advisory version. While this isn't too much of a distraction most of the time, it can sound annoying on some songs because of the scratchy sound used to muffle the swear words. Also there were only a few songs I usually skip over but other than that, all the songs are great. So overall, this is a great cd for those who want some good pop/rock with a little bit of punk and also for those who don't want to hear swearing in their music.
