Different, but in a good way
Lies for the Liar, In Love and Death, The Used. I love the past work of The Used. Love them all. So I was excited about getting this one, but wary of the reviews/critiques that said the band had "sold out. " I must admit. I don't hear the sell out. Anyone who doesn't like the ballad Kissing You Goodbye probably didn't like Smother Me on the last album. I played Smother Me at my wedding so obviously Kissing You Goodbye is one of my absolute favorites. Also, Blood on My Hands is a one-two punch of hard rocking beats and powerful vocals. Best of Me is also a standout. And Men Are All the Same ties it all together with sort of a hodgepodge of the strong points crammed in a new song. So guess I missed the "sell out. " It's just different, which you expect in the natural evolution of a band.


love it
i like buying used (no pun intended) cds because there's really no purpose in paying more for plastic wrap that you can't even get off for minutes to hours. great cd, wonderful condition. (frustrating) this cd was a set and included a dvd which was very interesting. what a great band.

Also, it came with all the extra stuff that was probably thrown out in other used forms of this product, so that was nice. The item was used, but there were absolutely no signs of it. I highly recommend this seller!.


The Used are getting soft
Some tracks are still worth a listen, but I recommend buyin their first album for some real rock. After a great emotional debut album, The Used have gone steadily downhill since. .


Sold Out?
I think it is quite the opposite. It is funny how some people say that The Used "sold out" on this record. This album is raw and has real feeling and passion behind it. This is the best work they have ever done, in my opinion, and that's saying a lot because I'm a huge fan of all their music. "Kissing You Goodbye" is one of the best songs I've ever had the pleasure of listening to. If all of The Used's "fans" can't evolve with them then they are really missing out on something amazing with "Artwork".
