If you are a new fan of Ritchie's or you want to learn more about him in an intamate way. First of all I want people to know that Ritchie Valens did record more than just La Bamba, Donna, and Come On, Lets Go In A Turkish Town is definately my favorite but I adore the demo version of Come On, Lets Go. I suggest that you buy this Cd. This CD gives you an idea of the gentle personality that Ritchie had. As the demos show his spirit before Bob Keane edited anything. There are also pictures of Ritchie with his friends and family. I especially like track number 18 because you can hear Ritchie speak on a commerical he did for the Winter Dance Party. I'm 31 years old and have been a fan of Ritchie's since La Bamba came out in 1987. I was a bit disappointed in the film but I like Lou Diamond Philips so it wasn't a total loss. This CD actually tells you more about his life than the film. Also, there is a great book called Ritchie Valens The First Latino Rocker, if you want to know the true spirit of Ritchie. .

two in one. This is one of the best cds ive ever heard by Ritchie along with rockin all night this has his best songs along with a small bio.

There's a really good narration of his story by Bob Keane. If you really like Ritchie Valens' music this is the CD to get. You learn so much from it and it makes you appreciate his music even more. The songs are great and another good thing about this cd is that it has actual recording sessions. I strongly recommend this cd.

This is not your first choice!
Your first choice for Ritchie should either be DEL - FI'S Rockin All Night CD or The Very Best Of Ritchie Valens (IMPORT) I hope this will be a help!. I loveeeeee Ritchie! He is awesome! I have 9 cds by him, but I would like to tell you this is one of my least favorite of all the cds I own by him and Buddy Holly (I strongly recommend: Buddy Holly Greatest Hits).
