Good value for the price... The sound quality is good, there are five or six of the group's big hits, and the lesser-known sides included are not terrible. There are scores of Four Seasons' compilations available around the world, this being one of the shortest and cheapest. For an inexpensive taste of what made these Jersey Boys so popular, this is a good purchase. . A Budget Release From Rhino/Flashback I grabbed a copy when I saw that it included New Mexican Rose, a # 36 Billboard Pop Hot 100 for the group in late 1963 on the Vee-Jay label, and not that easy to find in quality sound. Unlike many such 10-track budget releases, this one not only provides two pages of liner notes written by Rocky Petralia, but original renditions of six of their biggest hits as well. Which this is! If you're a fan of Frankie Valli & The Four Seasons, one of only a very few American groups to hold their own on the charts throughout the first years of the British Invasion, then you'll find this an ideal CD to keep in the car and throw on during short trips.
