Awesome!
This is one of the best relatively unknown albums you will find. The first JVZ Band album finally on cd! I had this on vinyl when it was first released years ago. I love every song. Strongly recommended for any southern rock lovers or basically anyone who is into the ultimate (and unmatched) classic rock genre. Keep ROCK alive!.

Finally!
This is the great debut album by the Johnny Van Zant Band, led by the younger brother of the great Ronnie Van Zant of Lynyrd Skynyrd. I'm so glad that this album has finally been released on CD.
This is where Johnny started years before he became the frontman of today's Lynyrd Skynyrd.
I must say that I am quite pleased with this album. We are given several great songs like "No More Dirty Deals", "Comin' Home", "Put My Trust In You", "Keep On Rollin'", and "Only The Strong Survive", which I think is my favorite track on the album (I've always wondered why it wasn't included on his greatest hits CD). All of the other songs are good as well.
The album comes with nice liner notes containing a long interview with Johnny Van Zant about his early days.
While it may not be as strong as his older brother's work, I find Johnny's work very enjoyable to listen to.
Now, when are we going to get "Round 2" and "Last Of The Wild Ones"?.
