A Fun Album.....Once in a While
I don't know why, I just thought they wern't going to put out another good album. Being a long time Vandals fan I thought this was when they were going to go downhill. I was half right, half wrong.

There are some awesome songs on this album "Go","Behind The Music", and "That's my Girl. " There are a lot of other good songs but those are the real standouts. This cd isn't horrible but it's sort of what I expected, something fun to listen to. After there release "Hiter Bad, Vandals Good" the music was getting just a bit to poppy and not like the old Vandals.

I must warn you if you're an old Vandals fan then you will not like this. But if your into some of there later stuff then you might really like this. I like all of the Vandals album except for "Internet Dating Superstuds" because it was way to poppy.

In this album the Vandals still keep the hilarious lyrics, and that makes this cd a whole lot better. Most of there songs are about girls, which is kind of a bad thing because it does get just a little bit old. The instruments are great also even in some of there slower songs. Basically the Vandals have sort of drifted off from there old style and changed into pop/punk, not Good Charlotte pop/punk but just a little more poppy then there stuff from the 80's and early 90's.

Overall you should get this album if your into the newer stuff the Vandals have put out. Don't get this if you really liked "Peace Thru Vandalism" or "Fear Of A Punk Planet". If this is your first Vandals album then I would borrow it. . . or possibly buy it but it's a risky buy. This album is a fun album, but it does get repetitive, basically you should buy this is you know what your getting into. .


First Vandals CD, not a dissapointment.
I listened to it in a music store at first and thought it was okay, but then I got the album and it [is really good]! Most people hate it because it's kind of Poppy but I don't think so. Well my friend made a mix with four Vandals cD's and this was on here according to him. Best songs on here are The new You, Go, Jackass, Behind the Music, and Get a Room. But if you think this C will [be bad] then Peace Thru Vandalism and Hitler bad Vandals Good are better albums than this.


Gotta get it!
Good hooks, catchy lyrics, almost every song is an anthem for someone. I'm familiar with the work of these guys ever since Peace Through Vandalism and while their sound has changed a lot over the years, I like this album the best.

And tonight was the first time i listened to it since then and it reminded me how great it is. I got into this album in the summer. I love this record. ITs awesome. YOu must buy it.

standouts : WHAT ABOUT ME?, ALL THE OTHER SONGS ARE AWESOMEEEEE. GET INTO IT!!!!!!!.


Vandals guide to swapping real fans for radio fans
But guess what, the radio is free [shhhh] nobody one tell the vandals that or they might go " arrggghhh! we cashed in our real fans, the ones that go to shows and actually fork over money for albums, for fans that download 1 mp3 they heard on the radio . Radio = $, so hey good for them. . . !!!!!!"

??Its got me how nitro can be so successful with Dexter at the wheel, he can't pick a bad move, and he sure as heck fire can't cover AFI. Vandals gotta get back to kung-fu, and get that glass half full again!.
