SRV 101
Nuff said!. This is a great starter set to introduce someone to SRV - it's all the hit singles in one package plus a groovy version of "Tax Man".


Lousy Selection & Order
One of the best guitarists ever and they start off with a Beatles cover (Taxman)? Then 3 of the next 6 from the newer In Step, a keyboard laden album. This had to be put together by someone with no SRV knowledge. Those 4 tunes alone need to be at the back of the line (if in line at all). The list order leaves everything to be desired.

Whoever put this thing together really missed the boat on the essence of SRV's style and soul. I would recommend getting any of the other SRV hits cds but not this one.

The only reason I didn't give this album 1 star was because it is SRV.

Good buy for anyone that enjoys Blues music. A great buy for Stevie Ray Vaughan fans.

I received it on time for Christmas and the cd was fine but the cd case was cracked.


I am the greatest
Any blues/rock lover will absolutely wear this CD out because it is the vary essence of SRV music. The name of this album should be "I Am the Greatest!" because that is what this album is for Stevie Ray. The only CD left to buy is his Live at Austin City Limits, his best performance ever in my opinion!.
