You'll like it if u are a fan, otherwise look elsewere
The rest of them are knda cool but not very original. Some of the songs (That Computer Song)are just bad. The balad was a nice surprise. Recomended only to fans. Thanks!.


Not bad, but not at all special or memorable


There is still that sense of carefree fun, so that's a good thing. Did you love The Party Album? Do you still find yourself singing We Like To Party! (the vengabus song) in your head now and then? Are you hoping for a follow-up that will have the same effect? Sadly, The Platinum Album falls short. There are no songs you'd call "bad," either, so that's also good. Where this album falls short is in taking the Vengaboys anywhere beyond that. If you have the Party Album you're really not missing a single thing on this one. Much of the music sounds recycled from The Party Album - you VERY often hear nearly identical keyboards from earlier songs.

Yet at the same time, the songs here aren't nearly as catchy as We Like To Party! (the vengabus song), We're Going To Ibiza, Up & Down, or Superfly Slick. They're not necessarily bad, just completely unmemerable.

Unless you're a completest and simply must have this because The Party Album was so much fun, you won't be missing anything by forgetting this one. It's just more of the same, only less interesting. It gives the impression that the Vengaboys formula is a very limited one and they make little effort to expand on it.

It is my fave. I just said it. I love to do work around the house to it and just LOVE LOVE it.

This rocks, but the first CD is better.
After their first CD went out, as they were working on their second CD, it got less dance-y and more pop-y. If you don't like pop, DO NOT buy this CD. But, I think the songs are great. You should really listen to the samples before making your decision, because they have really changed.
